Calls for Coakley in Harrisburg
Jan 18, 2010 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Description:
On Tuesday, voters in Massachusetts will head to the polls to elect their next U.S. Senator to fill Ted Kennedy’s seat.
Republican Scott Brown has pulled ahead of Democratic nominee Martha Coakley by four points, leading 50 to 46 in a Suffolk University poll released this morning.
At a time when America is facing so many obstacles, it is crucial that Martha Coakley join Senator Specter in the Senate to work on passing important legislation. Her opponent Scott Brown has pledged to block health care reform if elected.
We will be making calls to Get Out the Vote for her campaign on Monday night from 6:30 to 8:30pm in Harrisburg, at Senator Specter’s campaign headquarters, located at 600 North 2nd Street (1st floor). Pizza will be provided!
Please join campaign staff and volunteers in reminding Massachusetts Democrats to get to the polls on Tuesday. In a race this close, every call will make a difference.
Hope to see you there!
