Specter lends a hand to Coakley

Democrats are quivering at the prospect of Martha Coakley losing the Senate race in Massachusetts on Tuesday and turning over Ted Kennedy's seat to a Republican. So for Democrats, it's all hands on deck in these final days.
That includes our very own Republican turned Democrat Arlen Specter who is lending out his campaign staff to Coakley on Monday night. On his campaign Web site he invites volunteers to his headquarters in Harrisburg for pizza and a phone drive to support Coakley.
Democrats are not taking any chances. Losing that seat could give the Republicans the extra vote they need to kill the health care bill. President Obama is heading to Massachusetts on Sunday to campaign alongside Coakley.
Things aren't looking good. Coakley is down in the polls, even her own.
